Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient safety at all times. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering excellent patient care.
Duties
- Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols and patient care standards.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and accuracy of imaging.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring all scans meet diagnostic standards.
- Document procedures in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
- Follow strict infection control protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Proficiency in performing CT imaging and patient positioning.
- One year of radiology experience
- One year of pediatric imaging experience
Requirements
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Active Arizona Radiologic Technologist license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
